F.S.M. serves as a European satellite of ‘The Archive of Modern Conflict´.

It provides a link between the main archive and the passionate collector or researcher. Step by step a unique collection of photos will be put at the disposal of those with a passion for WW II history, focusing on ground warfare in the form of original period photographs converted into digital images. The collection covers numerous military actions as well as the various types of combat vehicles and other military equipment used by both sides of this world conflict.
There are no financial aims, but of course the archive is more than interested in any possibility to expand its collection with original, valuable or exceptional photos. The service offered is intended to stimulate the preservation of our military heritage. Serious researchers are welcome to consult the collection by appointment as are passionate amateur historians who are working on a publication that is intended to make a serious contribution to the existing  knowledge after having shown their manuscript. Those whose aim is to obtain unique images for free or with the intention of publishing commercial books or articles without any profound scientific research should not contact the A.M.C.’s satellite, Flanders Scale Models.
